Airline Fabricare Systems participated in a charity event in support of Special Olympics Texas and the 60,000 children and adults taking part in 300 annual events covering 22 different sports.

Fort Worth, Texas – July 29th, 2019– Airline Fabricare Systems® announces the hiring of Jessica Taylor as our Sales Manager.  Jessica is a UNT alum with a BA in Marketing.  Jessica brings with her a wealth of experience stemming from 7 years as an Account Executive at CAE and additional corporate experience with Sonic Drive-In.  Jessica will touch all aspects of sales at AFS, with a concentration on Airports.  VP of Sales/Ops, Paul Pemberton noted, “We are very excited to bring Jessica on board.  She brings with her the experience, drive, fresh perspective, and interpersonal skills that AFS and our partners value.”.

Alaska Airlines Employee Assistance Fund Golf Outing

Seattle, Washington – July 21st 2018 – AFS joined up with Alaska’s Chris Berry and Mike Levar in support of the Alaska Airlines Employee Assistance Fund at the Washington National Golf Course.  AFS VP of Sales, Paul Pemberton said, “Outside of my struggles on the links, it was a fantastic day with beautiful weather, a great group of people and in support of an important cause”.

Atlanta, Georgia – October 11th, 2017 – The Atlanta Business Chronicle hosted their 36th annual award ceremony at the Atlanta History Center. This awards night honors International companies who have set up operations in Atlanta, Georgia.

Airline Fabricare Systems partner FELLFAB® was awarded International Company of the Year, a medium-size business.   The goal of these awards is to recognize international organizations that are working to strengthen Georgia’s business community. The categories included; International Education Program, International Community, Global Nonprofit, International Company of the Year (Small, Medium, Large), and Lifetime Achievement.  

FELLFAB® is headquartered in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. It opened its first US location in Atlanta and has been at its current location since 2010. Since then, the company has grown and flourished to become a leader in the engineered textile market, providing world-class products to the Aviation, Rail, Defense, Space, and Industrial markets.

Performance Excellence Award

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada – May 24th, 2017 – Airline Fabricare Systems partner FELLFAB®, announced today that it received a Boeing Performance Excellence Award – Silver Level. The Boeing Company issues this award annually to recognize suppliers who achieved superior performance levels throughout a twelve-month period. This year’s performance period ran from October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016.

Boeing recognized 402 companies with the Silver Level Performance Excellence award from their global supplier network. Receiving a Boeing Performance Excellence Award – Silver Level from such a world-renowned company is a significant accomplishment. FELLFAB® has been awarded this prestigious award five times (2008, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016), this one marking the Company’s fourth consecutive. The Aviation Interior manufacturer was also the proud recipient of the Boeing Supplier of the Year – Interiors category in 2014.

Airline Fabricare Systems® converts the first American Airlines 787-800 from Cloth to Leather

Fort Worth, Texas – January 10th, 2017 – Airline Fabricare Systems launched the American Airlines 787-800 conversion program on the evening of January 9th, 2017.  The AFS kick off conversion team, consisting of both management and frontline employees, worked in concert with the American Airlines Tech Ops group to convert the main cabin seating from cloth to leather.

Fort Worth, Texas – October 17th, 2016 – Airline Fabricare Systems® announces the hiring of Sami Tauber as our Customer Advocate to American Airlines and Six Sigma specialist.  Sami holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University and a Masters of Business Administration in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  Ms. Tauber is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and holds ISO 9001 (2008) and 13485, Internal Auditor (2014) certifications.  Company President Andy Albert noted that Sami brings with her a unique mix of elite level customer service and technical capabilities.  Sami is expected to quickly add to an already strong management team.

Airline Fabricare Systems® announces the hiring of Jonathan Owens

Fort Worth, Texas – October 3rd, 2016 – Airline Fabricare Systems® announces the hiring of Jonathan Owens, a recent graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelors in Finance and a minor in Business Management.  Jonathan will fill the role of Office Manager, handling invoicing, accounts payable, and project management oversight.   Vice President of Sales Paul Pemberton noted that Jonathan brings a strong educational and practical background with him and is expected to make an immediate impact.
