Alaska Airlines Employee Assistance Fund Golf Outing
Seattle, Washington – July 21st 2018 – AFS joined up with Alaska’s Chris Berry and Mike Levar in support of the Alaska Airlines Employee Assistance Fund at the Washington National Golf Course. AFS VP of Sales, Paul Pemberton said, “Outside of my struggles on the links, it was a fantastic day with beautiful weather, a great group of people and in support of an important cause”.

2017 Georgia International Company of the Year Award
Atlanta, Georgia – October 11th, 2017 – The Atlanta Business Chronicle hosted their 36th annual award ceremony at the Atlanta History Center. This awards night honors International companies who have set up operations in Atlanta, Georgia.
Airline Fabricare Systems partner FELLFAB® was awarded International Company of the Year, a medium-size business. The goal of these awards is to recognize international organizations that are working to strengthen Georgia’s business community. The categories included; International Education Program, International Community, Global Nonprofit, International Company of the Year (Small, Medium, Large), and Lifetime Achievement.

Airline Fabricare Systems® converts the first American Airlines 787-800 from Cloth to Leather
Fort Worth, Texas – January 10th, 2017 – Airline Fabricare Systems launched the American Airlines 787-800 conversion program on the evening of January 9th, 2017. The AFS kick off conversion team, consisting of both management and frontline employees, worked in concert with the American Airlines Tech Ops group to convert the main cabin seating from cloth to leather.

Airline Fabricare Systems® announces the hiring of Jonathan Owens
Fort Worth, Texas – October 3rd, 2016 – Airline Fabricare Systems® announces the hiring of Jonathan Owens, a recent graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelors in Finance and a minor in Business Management. Jonathan will fill the role of Office Manager, handling invoicing, accounts payable, and project management oversight. Vice President of Sales Paul Pemberton noted that Jonathan brings a strong educational and practical background with him and is expected to make an immediate impact.

Airline Fabricare Systems® was in St. Louis May 13 – 15 at the RAA show – displaying our capabilities and meeting with prospective Regional Airline partners. We enjoyed the opportunity to rekindle old friendships while making a number of new ones.

Partner FELLFAB® Limited achieves Safety Milestone – 1000 days without a ‘Lost Time Injury’
Hamilton, ON – Wednesday, September 26, 2012 – FELLFAB® is pleased to announce that its Hamilton facility achieved 1000 days without a ‘Lost Time Injury’ on September 26, 2012. A facility event was held on October 3, 2012 and included all employees and Senior Management. FELLFAB® was also fortunate enough to include one of its customers that day who was visiting the facility.
This achievement marks the 2nd milestone in the Safety Incentive Program at FELLFAB®. This program was initiated as a way to promote and to improve health and safety within each of the Company’s facilities by tracking the number of days without a ‘Lost Time Injury.’ A lost time injury can be defined as a medically approved absence from work as a result of a workplace accident or injury. Milestones have been identified in 500 day increments and achievements are celebrated per facility.
This is a huge achievement for the Company as it continues to focus on health and safety and reduce the number of accidents and injuries. FELLFAB®’s commitment to safety not only includes its employees, but is extended to include customers, suppliers, contractors, and the general public.
