Fort Worth, Texas – July 29th, 2019– Airline Fabricare Systems® announces the hiring of Jessica Taylor as our Sales Manager.  Jessica is a UNT alum with a BA in Marketing.  Jessica brings with her a wealth of experience stemming from 7 years as an Account Executive at CAE and additional corporate experience with Sonic Drive-In.  Jessica will touch all aspects of sales at AFS, with a concentration on Airports.  VP of Sales/Ops, Paul Pemberton noted, “We are very excited to bring Jessica on board.  She brings with her the experience, drive, fresh perspective, and interpersonal skills that AFS and our partners value.”.

Hamilton, Ontario, Canada – May 24^th, 2017 – Airline Fabricare Systems partner FELLFAB®, announced today that it received a Boeing Performance Excellence Award – Silver Level. The Boeing Company issues this award annually to recognize suppliers who achieved superior performance levels throughout a twelve-month period. This year’s performance period ran from October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2016.

Boeing recognized 402 companies with the Silver Level Performance Excellence award from their global supplier network. Receiving a Boeing Performance Excellence Award – Silver Level from such a world-renowned company is a significant accomplishment. FELLFAB® has been awarded this prestigious award five times (2008, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016), this one marking the Company’s fourth consecutive. The Aviation Interior manufacturer was also the proud recipient of the Boeing Supplier of the Year – Interiors category in 2014.

Fort Worth, Texas – October 17^th, 2016 – Airline Fabricare Systems® announces the hiring of Sami Tauber as our Customer Advocate to American Airlines and Six Sigma specialist.  Sami holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University and a Masters of Business Administration in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.  Ms. Tauber is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and holds ISO 9001 (2008) and 13485, Internal Auditor (2014) certifications.  Company President Andy Albert noted that Sami brings with her a unique mix of elite level customer service and technical capabilities.  Sami is expected to quickly add to an already strong management team.

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 16, 2015 – Boeing [NYSE: BA] presented FELLFAB® with a Supplier of the Year award on April 15th for its exceptional performance and contributions to Boeing’s overall success during 2014.  FELLFAB® supplies Cabin Curtains to all Boeing Commercial Aircraft programs – including spares.

The Hamilton, Ontario, Canada-based company was one of 14 companies and one university to receive a Supplier of the Year award, presented during a gala awards ceremony.  In 2014 Boeing spent $62 billion with more than 13,000 suppliers from 47 countries.

The selection of the winning suppliers is based on statistical measurements of quality, on-time delivery, post-delivery support, cost and their ability to anticipate and respond to changing customer requirements.

DALLAS TX, October 27, 2014  Airline Fabricare Systems® hosted American, Envoy and Southwest Airlines for a Monday Night Football Event at Cowboy’s AT&T Stadium.  Steve White, VP of Sales said, “This was a fantastic event, great people in a great venue made for a great night!’.  Interior Engineering, Cabin Appearance, Purchasing, Material Planning, Procurement and Supply Chain Management experts from the three airlines made up the group. Company President, Andy Albert had this to say:  ” We are fortunate to have the oportunity to know and work with some of the best in the airline business and to have a group of them all in the same room at the same time made for an outstanding night.” 

Hamilton Ontario, Atlanta GA, Fort Worth TX – 12 June 2014.  To become registered to the quality standards of AS9100C or ISO 9001, a company must undergo a comprehensive audit by a third-party registrar.  Our partner FELLFAB®, a world-class manufacturer of innovative textile products successfully completed its AS9100C:2009 / ISO 9001:2008 audit in April of this year.  Registar, Orion Registar, Inc. certified all three of FELLFAB®’s facilities located in Hamilton Ontario, Atlanta Georgia and Fort Worth Texas. 

Hamilton, Ontario and Atlanta, Georgia- June 27, 2013 – Companies who are registered to AS9100C:2009 and ISO 9001:2008 have to undergo yearly audits of their systems and processes to ensure compliance to the standards. These audits must be evaluated by an outside accredited registrar. FELLFAB® who is registered to AS9100C:2009 and ISO 9001:2008 (including design) passed the renewal audit and was granted its 2013 certificate through Orion Registrar, Inc.

 AS9100C:2009 is an internationally accepted quality management system that is specific to the aerospace industry.  AS9100C:2009 incorporates the entirety of the ISO9001:2008 standard.  AS9100C:2009 was established to include additional regulatory compliance specific to the aerospace industry relating to quality and safety. 

Throughout the certification process, companies have to demonstrate their compliance to the standard. Companies are measured on a variety of requirements that cover quality testing processes, inspection procedures, how the company collects and analyzes data and how they monitor customer satisfaction.

Houston, Texas – June 14, 2012 – Employees from Airline Fabricare Systems® and AccuFleet came together in a two-day “train the trainer” session with The Leather Institute.  The curriculum covered all on-board leather repair techniques including:  Cleaning, Re-Conditioning, Ink Removal and Scuff/Cut repair.  The safe handling of solutions as well as color matching techniques were also covered.
