Airline Fabricare Systems® and Delta Airlines in Support of Breast Cancer Research

Atlanta, Georgia – October 11, 2013 – Airline Fabricare Systems® partnered with Delta Airlines in support of Breast Cancer Research through a Golf Tournament played during a cool October morning at the Cotton Fields Golf Course.  The tournament drew a number of aviation companies, bringing golfers at all skill levels together in a scramble for a great cause.

Airline Fabricare Systems® and Southwest Airlines in Support of the March of Dimes Foundation

Atlanta, Georgia – May 3, 2012 – Airline Fabricare Systems® partnered with Southwest Airlines in support of the March of Dimes Foundation in a golf tournament played at the Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree City, Georgia.  The tournament drew supporters from a number of different aviation-related businesses.  A gathering of good people for a great cause!

Partner FELLFAB® Limited achieves Safety Milestone – 1000 days without a ‘Lost Time Injury’

Hamilton, ON – Wednesday, September 26, 2012 – FELLFAB® is pleased to announce that its Hamilton facility achieved 1000 days without a ‘Lost Time Injury’ on September 26, 2012. A facility event was held on October 3, 2012 and included all employees and Senior Management. FELLFAB® was also fortunate enough to include one of its customers that day who was visiting the facility. 

This achievement marks the 2nd milestone in the Safety Incentive Program at FELLFAB®. This program was initiated as a way to promote and to improve health and safety within each of the Company’s facilities by tracking the number of days without a ‘Lost Time Injury.’ A lost time injury can be defined as a medically approved absence from work as a result of a workplace accident or injury. Milestones have been identified in 500 day increments and achievements are celebrated per facility. 

This is a huge achievement for the Company as it continues to focus on health and safety and reduce the number of accidents and injuries. FELLFAB®’s commitment to safety not only includes its employees, but is extended to include customers, suppliers, contractors, and the general public.

Airline Fabricare Systems® and AccuFleet Train with New Partner, The Leather Institute

Houston, Texas – June 14, 2012 – Employees from Airline Fabricare Systems® and AccuFleet came together in a two-day “train the trainer” session with The Leather Institute.  The curriculum covered all on-board leather repair techniques including:  Cleaning, Re-Conditioning, Ink Removal and Scuff/Cut repair.  The safe handling of solutions as well as color matching techniques were also covered.
